Default This is probably a dumb question....

but is there a website that shows all the different Harley models for 1989? I bought an 89 Harley and the seller called it an FLH. The title says body type RS and model FHC.
What are the differences between a FLH, FLT, FLHTC, etc, etc....
I want to buy a manual, but I also want to make sure I order the right one!!

Thank you

For your 89 FL, just order the parts manual for an 89 FLHT and the Service manual for the 89 FLHT, it wil cover all the FLH models. Ask me how I know....

You can identify your exact model, year, etc, looking your VIN number. More information here:

The Clymer manual for that year covers all the touring bikes as well as the FXR's.

go to HD site, click on accessories, type in year, it will list all models made for that year and their letter designation.
