Hey Mike - sure was nice seeing your EVO Wide Glide in Ocala! These new twinks just don't have that wonderful Evo idle lope like your WG and Jay's FXR4 do... but they are a bit easier to start on an inexplicably C-C-COLD Ocala Saturday morning. Buster actually had ICE all over his tins that morning... we sure didn't mean to bring THAT stuff down from GA!

Our Georgia women figured we needed to jump start the party Saturday night... it was just too mellow for us Jahjuh rednecks! It wasn't my idea to bring Buster around and crank up the tunes... but I think it turned out well. May have annoyed a few people... but it WAS a party after all!

 

Thanks Ken! No problems with the tunes for sure. Many people loved it. Sure loosened up a few of the women too. Man that thing is a rolling rock concert. I know my sons had a blast as much as I did. I took a pic of the ice on my seat. I have pics posted in the Fl. Crew section and one of them is a pic of your bike with the night lights on it.

Dale sure missed a good time.

Mike - I just wanted to say how impressed I was when I met your 2 sons. They are both fine young men, and your parenting skills really shine in them. You did a FINE job bringing them up, sir!

Thanks for the compliment on my sons. I am proud of them, but can't take credit. Their momma made us all what we are today. Still working on me though. Man I am ready for another rally.

Brrrrrrrrrr! My last night under canvas was at the Thistle Rally, in Central Scotland, January 1973, the year before I bought my first Harley. We had to clear about 8 inches of snow and the ground was so frozen hard we pitched the tent by hanging it from a tree!

I only 'camp' under a tiled roof these days.....
