Good for you guy!! Folks like to say that if they work longer they'll get more money. Wrong, like you I did the math, Who says you are guaranteed you'll live that long., In the end the money you get at whatever age equals out. I clocked out of work at 62 and a half. I never regretted it!!

They've got it rigged, you pretty much get the same money if you live long enough. Why work when you can kick back and ride for more years. I've still got a bucket list of places I want to ride. I want to ride to South America, Lima, Peru, got relatives there.

I retired at 62, within a week of my birthday, never regretted it for a moment. The "experts" say I did it without enough financial resources, but I've done fine with that, lot of people just spend more money than they should for their incomes. Don't need new cars, rarely eat out, grow a lot of my own food, but still have enough to buy tools, a 75" tv, and bacon, most of the stuff a man wants. And the biggest money saver, no women live in my house. That avoids a lot of stress, too.

Heading out early tomorrow morning to go empty out the storage unit and bring it all up to Idaho. Few weeks from now Alma will be registered and a daily driver.

Having Alma as a DD is indescribable! She shows her 36 years, but is a zen moment every time I take her out. Love being in the wind again.

Haven't been riding much, did a 2 week roundabout looking at property. Ended up buying 2.52 acres in the trees, in Southern Oregon. Then wrenching my back. Feeling almost normal again, will pull her out of the shop this week.
