Default I removed the tank for painting and OOPS

I took the nut off of the fuel level sensor and the dang thing fell in the tank.

Took me 30 minutes to fish it out. Now, I think I better replace ALL of the gaskets.

learning as I go...........

I removed my tanks on my 93 FXSTC in December for refinishing and heard rattling! I noticed two screws and several washers and a bolt in the bottom of the left side tank.. I tried the long arm magnet and no joy. I had to use an adhesive taped on the long magnet to extract. Yes they were made of aluminum. Problem solved,
