How the heck did you do that???? You might want to get the shorter light bar if it needs to be replaced, they look much "cooler".

Good question. Took off for the ride, arrived at picnic, noticed it gone...
Funny you mention the shorter bar. My son said the same thing......

You don't need to carry extras but you do need to periodically check all bolts and fasteners for tightness.
I lost a tail light lens and a foot peg on a road trip before.
As for the short light bar I have to disagree.
A friend of mine has one on his '97 and I think it looks silly.

The whole bike is filthy. Thanks for noticing........She'll get one more BIG cleaning before long, then it's wrenching time........

TD, I'll check my supply cabinet. I think I have about 6 of those and I no longer use those paddle style signal lights. If ya want I'll find them and send em down.

It says right there in the shop manual to check all the fasteners for tightness at every oil change. Bet you didn't check that one, did you? So, YOUR FAULT.
