Default Wrapping pipes

I want to know how to get these wrapped pipes that I've seen on some bikes.

Buy the wrap and do it yourself.

Yep - you buy it and do it yourself. A buddy of mine just did this on his softail. The wrap cost about $75...was about medium difficulty level to do from what he tells me.

I did it to both my rg and my wife's vrod. I bought the wrap on summit.com. I used sip ties to hold it all in place until I had the heat shields on. Then I cut the zip ties off. Smokes and stinks at first but I like it. I think it takes some of the noise out of the head pipes and transfers it out the exhaust. That's just my $.02

It is quite easy once you have done one or two.I use stainless hose clamps on mine.If it does not come out good the first time you can always do it again.
