Default To lug or not??

Ready to install new Cobra exhausts and need to know for sure if it is ok to plug the o2 sensers? FP3 for tuning and no idea if a map exists for a 2012 Heritage 103 cu in engine.

You don't want to plug the O2 sensors, the bike will use them for auto-tuning. There are plenty of maps out there for Softails with a 103 that will get you in the ballpark..

Just curious, what do you think you would accomplish by taking them out?

They work continuously on a stock bike and will continue to do their job after a tune, so leave well alone!

i would think they work the same as in a car, they keep your fuel ratio right, not to rich and not to lean. take them out and i would think you would be all over the place, youd have nothing to detect how the fuel is burning.
