super e carb tuning for Rhinehart 2 into 1 exhaust on 2002 night train/ softail

Default super e carb tuning for Rhinehart 2 into 1 exhaust on 2002 night train/ softail

bought some Rhinehart 2 into 1 exhaust for 2002 night train/ softail. I'm buying a new super e carb as well and putting them on at the same time. I'm not gifted when it comes to carbs and was hoping someone would know which jets i should use and any other tuning tips would be great. thanks

Start at a .295 intermediate jet and a .72 main jet. I would think the intermediate would be pretty good but you may have to move up to the .74 main assuming your motor is stock and you have a better intake than stock or are using the teardrop

Smart move on the S&S and pipes. The best bang for the buck would be to replace the cam as well with the S&S 509..... Can't go wrong with that combo in an 88"er. 2002 was the last year of the forged cranks......

Minor note.. HD did not change the cranks until 2005 model year. 02 was the last year for Timken bearings tho..

Thanks to everyone for the quick replies and misfitjason for the specific jetting info i was ;ooking for! I am running the teardrop with a knn and everything else is stock.

Does anyone have any idea what gains I'll get from the 2 into 1 exhaust and super e with the tear drop intake and k&n, I put the .295 and .74 jets in as misfitjason advised? With my work schedule it will probably take at least a month before i can finish my restoration, I bought her wrecked and I'm getting impatient to see the results.
