I just bought a new air cleaner. The stock one on my Fatboy are banjo bolts that pass through into the inside of the air cleaner. The new air cleaners bolts are solid. So this is a multi part question I guess.

One, With no crankcase vent at the rocker box anymore (solid bolts not banjo) is that a bad thing on the engine?

Second what size are the bolts that hold the air cleaner to the rocker boxes?

I am thinking of a way to make a breather tube for the new air cleaner but would have to get new banjo bolts and drill the housing of the current air cleaner. Anyway if anyone has any insight into this I would be grateful.

 

What year and model is your bike and what brand is your air filter. If your engine is a head breather, then don't block those holes, otherwise your engine won't be able to breath properly!
