Going with a new low rider-had dual pipes on the superglide i had and liked that-thinking of changing over to Vance & Hines duels-would changing over to duels cause any problems with the motor or whatever else?
^^This.^^ But be aware, going from a 2 into 1 exhaust to a 2 into 2 is probably going to cost you a noticeable amount of low end torque.
Agreed. I went the other way with my Glide, from twin pipes to a 2-into-1. Headline numbers were similar for both systems, however low/mid range torque was significantly better with the 2-into-1 (SuperTrapp). The unexpected bonus was how much smoother running it is with the 2-into-1, much nicer to ride and it goes quicker too!
