Default How to get the most performance out of my Rineharts

I have Rineharts true duals 2" with Rinehart 3-1/2 exhaust, I want to get the maximum performance, I went with the smaller exhaust to maintain the compression. I've read about differences in baffles and exhaust determine extra horsepower, can some of you gearheads explain why have dual exhaust and whats the reasoning, verse having stock exhaust. I've read about baffling with some brands of exhaust can help in performance, what I've read about Rineharts is, you just get noise! I'd like so see some research documents regarding the different exhaust systems,

Never really been a fan of Rineharts sound, as I think they’re too loud. But, I’ve come to realize that power, is what they’re best at. As far as I know, only a good 2-1 or a 2-1-2 headpipe, with Rinehart slip-ons, make better power.

What other performance mods have you done to your bike? What are you looking to get from a different exhaust?

Second of all I want max power!

First, my setup is a 107, with 10.5 domed pistons
Woods TW-8G cams
Level B heads
Horsepower Inc 55MM. TB
SE adj pushrods
HPI 5.3 injectors
SE extreme A/C
Thundermax
Rinehart 2" true duels
ACR's
Rinehart 3-1/2 slipons.

I think that's about it.

Here is an example of how exhaust effects power.. This is a 107 kit with just changing slip-ons .

Blue Line - Kuryakyn Crushers
Red Line - Bassani DNT

The Crushers made this Heavy Bagger a lot faster going through the gears..

I looked to see the specs to see if the Crushers would fit a 2" inlet, can't find any technical data on this pipe!

Best thing I’ve done yet, was getting rid of those damn DNT’s.

OP, sell your system, and buy a good 2-1

With your power package, I’m really surprised you didn’t choose a good 2-1

Also note how well the stock head pipe performs!!

Crushers are discontinued yet still can be found, not for M8's. Another proven performer are Fullsac sac 1.75 and 2" baffles.
