I am not a mechanic but I have read in other posts that if the fuel line inside the tank has a hole in it, it may not allow gas to flow to the motor. You check fuel level and you hear the fuel pump kick on but do you know fuel is getting to the motor. I read somewhere that a way to check that inside fuel line for leaks is to remove the gas cap and watch the fuel when you engage the fuel pump, there should be visible turbulence, bubbling etc when the pump engages. Not sure but I would think fuel since it was running for a while and then stopped, maybe it ran on the fuel in the line before shutting off?

With changing the exhaust, I would check the wires the run from the crank sensor to the ECU. They run down near the exhaust and it's possible that the pipe was touching them and melted through.

You can dump codes on a 15 pretty easy. See if there are any.

Dale,
no its beyond my expertise. I took it to the dealer. Theyve told me that the rear cyclider is having compression issues? They're supposed to call me today. Its only been there two days though. Plus they're busy with sturgis and all. The bike only has 3300 miles on it so is should be under warranty no? I'll post when I know what the issue was.

Well good luck, hopefully they get her back soon and the warranty covers it, with only 3000 miles I would think they would.

So harley dealer is saying both cyclinders are only at 80psi and they're supposed to be at like 160ish if memory serves. Now they want to rip down down the motor at about 7-8hrs of labor... Oh and said it wouldnt be under warranty 🤔. Feel like I'm getting taken here? Is this all possible with changing the exhaust and efi?

Not sure about the warranty issue, did they say it just didn't cover it or that your mod's voided it? I would have thought it would be covered it with so few miles. I am not mechanically inclined enough to point you in a better direction but it sounds like you might be getting a raw deal.
