RE: Stage 1 question - from my hubby
Tell him to take it "extremely easy" on the throttle and drive directly to the dealer for remap. The bike will run in a lean condition causing the intake and exhaust valves to get hot and possibly burn the valve seats. Personally, I put the SEII's on, took the bike in for remap, then installed the A/C to complete. If you read the instructions for the SE A/C, it has a warning not to install the SE A/C prior to ECM remap. If the bike is under warranty, and the A/C is self installed without remap, good luck trying to convince the MC that it wasn't your fault!!! It is only 1/2 hour labor to install the A/C, I would just have the dealer do it during remap. My dealer's labor rate is like $38.00 for 1/2 hour.
