New to this forum... Need advice of exhaust for 2000 RK. I currently have Hooker Headers Tune Flow for the pass 7 yrs.. I wanted to upgrade/ change me pipes as well as some engine work. I have 55+ miles on my ride.. I'm starting wiht the pipes first... Thx.

 

The last place to start with an upgrade would be your exhaust, IMO, unless you are going to a header.

 

Thx, didn't know that.. My plans is up grade my 88 to a 95. I'm not looking to go crazy w/ the motor, just want more HP and TQ and still be able to cruise and enjoy long rides..

 

I ran the same pipes as you did until last year and now am more than pleased with my SuperTrapp SuperMegs 2-into-1...

BTW I have two of those rifles in your sig. pic, except my CA permits don't allow M203 grenade launchers!

 

Start on the inside and work out!

If you want to make changes tothe engine start there. If you are going to have it done by a local shop,ask them for suggestions. Talk through what power you want, how loud you want it, how much you want to spend, how much you are prepared to spend!
