Default shovelhead + s&s carb = what jet?

A buddy just picked up a VERY used 83 Lowrider Shovelhead. It has an S&amp\\;S carb from a Sportster.........Long story.
&nbsp\\;
Anyway, it obviously doesn't run right and lean bogs at anything over 1/2 throttle., but it starts and idles fine.
&nbsp\\;
Does anyone know what sized jets (approximately) we should start with to get things in the ballpark?......I have no idea what make of pipes are on the bike.
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Thanks.

If&nbsp\\;the engine is&nbsp\\;close to stock those are the numbers from S&amp\\;S for sure and a good starting point. But really check closely for air leaks, Shovels are really **** to this leak. Also not sure about his comment about the carb from a Sportster, &nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;
