Default SLIP ON MUFFLER LEAKAGE

I have a '98 ULTRA and recently installed RUSH 1.75 core slip-ons, a Screamin' Eagle Stage I air package and a Power Commander.&nbsp\\; the bike runs and sounds great with one nagging problem.&nbsp\\; I have a small amount of exaust leakage where the slip-ons clamp to the exaust pipes.&nbsp\\; I can feel and hear a small leak.&nbsp\\; I have no problem with the slip-ons moving.&nbsp\\; can anyone suggest how to clamp the slip-ons on and stop the slight leak?

Depending on the clearance you could try some shim stock or Permatex high temp RTV.

&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I had same problem when dealer installed my Rush / 2" .. I couldnt get rid of decell poping. after calling rush factory they said to look in the end of the muffler thru the baffle and toward the front and see if I could see daylight where the muffler slips on the header pipe. Mine had 3 out of the 4 on one&nbsp\\;and 2 of 4 on the other that had daylight in the&nbsp\\;slots on the small end where the muffler slips on&nbsp\\;and the clamp goes to tighten down the muffler.&nbsp\\;They were&nbsp\\;not&nbsp\\;sealed right when installed, the dealer pulled the pipes and resealed them and put a NEW set of clamps on the mufflers and redone the dyno on his dime..... at last it got rid of 95% of popping and now sounds great...
