Default Using stock ignition with cam & higher compression?

&nbsp\\; I was wondering if anyone is using stock ignition with a mid-range cam (236/240 duration, 495 lift) and 10:1 pistons.&nbsp\\;I was wondering if&nbsp\\;this is doable and still run pump gas 92-93 octane.

Default RE: Using stock ignition with cam & higher compression?

probably not, you will need to pull 5 to 10 deg. of timming. the Daytona twin tech is one of the best. it is also sold as the Crane hi4 i think. or you can buy it from R&amp\\;R cycles, Head-Quarters or Zippers.
