Default Can this be se 255 cam Ithink not

Hi everone Had cam installed Dyno tuned . With 2into1 v- h pro pipe ac sert. Cam does not go much above stock in power till 4200 good power till 6200 peak85@ 5.5 TQ runs about 1pound above stock till 4000 with biggist dif at 55 max tq 90.37@4500. can this be a se 255 cam I don,t think so. I am about to talk to dealer Some of you tech heads HELP. I am not sure what to say to them. Am I wrong. Oh this 09 R K stock 96 with mods listed. Thanks BILL

Four things.
1: Did you do a before and after on the SAME dyno on the same day?
2: Did they re-tune the map for the cams?
3: SE cams aren't necessarily the best in terms of performance.
4: Never allow a dyno readout to determine your satisfaction with modifications.

255's are known to be a low to mid cam. Something is not right.

did not have before and after dyno after only. The comparison was stock cam and dyno sheet is on page 2. Thanks for any and all ideas.

Yeah, I'm thinking the cam was installed a tooth retarded -- that would push the torque curve to the right, and since the cam is so short, you wouldn't see the peak torque it should produce.

dyno chart in about 20 to 30 mins. Haveing a friend show me how. dyno sheet on page 2 Thanks Bill

When I had the 255s, they pulled hard from idle to about 3700 rpm....then they died. So, I'd assume something isn't right (or they're not 255s) if it's not coming on until 4200.
