Cam chest torque specs and pattern

You really should get the service manual for your bike. IIRC, the torque spec for the cam chest cover is 110-120 inch pounds; however, I would recommend keeping to the lower end of that spec with steel fasteners into aluminum threads. Specifically the two fasteners that go through the location dowels at two and four oclock.
Not sure what you part you refer to as the cam "chest"? Are you referring to the cam support plate?
You should also consider upgrading the inner cam bearings while you have the cam chest open.
You also need the torque spec for the rear cam bollt and the pinion sprocket bolt. IIRC, those are 35 and 25 ft. lbs. but not sure.
You really should pick up the H-D service manual before taking this project on if this is your first venture into the cam chest.
Are you using OEM pushrods or installing adjustables? If adjstable, which pushrods? Have you got the adjustment procedure down? Replacing lifters or not?
Have you got the oil pump alignment procedure down?
Apoligies if you have done this before and understand all that is involved but your OP didn't indicate so just friendly reminders.

Don't bother if the manual is not the H-D manual. If you are going to get one, the H-D manual; your dealer can order one, or better yet, get the PN and order online from a discouint dealer. If you need torque specs, we can post the torque specs but you need the manual for the detail and instructions.
