i have a set of vance and hines straightshot hs's. although they sound great, they are about 10-12 decibels over the laws here in germany where i live.[:@] i was wondering if anybody has any idea how i can decrease the decibels on these (at least until i pass inspection), besides putting the original pipes on.

 

Vance & Hines make a quiet baffle kit for most of their exhaust systems, however it will only drop your dB levels by 5-6dB or so their tech department states. 10-12dB is quite a bit of sound to remove the easiest thing might be to just reinstall the stock mufflers for inspection. Good luck though.
