Bump again soft 02. I went to the big city today to get some bearings and seals at Motion Industries. While I was there, I visited with the guys I used to deal with on a daily basis when I was a machine shop/maintenance planner for a rather large paper mill for over 20 years, so they humored me. They looked on their system and never found a seal with a spring on both sides. I still have hope that you can get me that NAPA number though so I can get a couple of them so I won't have to wonder which side goes toward the crank.
Copied and pasted, but Napa wasn't on their list:
Motion Industries, Inc., headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, is the nation's largest distributor of industrial parts. The company was founded in 1972 and has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts since 1976. Motion Industries provides parts for many companies including Black & Decker, Ford, and GM. There are more than 500 Motion Industries offices located throughout the United States and in Canada through its Motion Canada subsidiary. The company operates in Mexico through its Motion Mexico, S. de R.L. de C.V. division.

Sorry. Been meaning to respond. I was hoping I had my old seal to spec out a new one. What I did was to go in the back of the seal book and chose the seal type which was a double spring 2 sided seal, then I mic'd the housing and shaft along with sending my old one for comparison. I did this through my bearing supplier. Im not very good at keeping receipts. All I need to do is that process all over again. If you look in the back of a seal book they will have cross sections of every kind of seal. That becomes the post fix in the seal part #. Everything else is just measurements.
