ultima 120" less than 2k miles Flipped piston

Looks like someone tried to decarb it by spraying water in the intake. Only problem was they thru a big slug in at 5600 rpm. Some people do strange things. I have a friend with a fairly new CVO Dana. We were standing out in front of a burger joint and he fired it up. Sat there an held the throttle wide open. The tac was bumping off the rev limiter. I was standing there rather startled. I personally do not want to be next to one that blows up. I ask him if he thought that might hurt it. He told me he does it all the time. That they are made to take it..?
I've seen some badly scattered engines before, but that piston still in one piece tilted in the cylinder is a new one.

Other than on the starting line with both bulbs turned on at the tree do I want to hear an unloaded engine bump the limiter. Makes me want to just punch someone in the mouth for their pure ignorance.

I am i ajayrk's camp; reminds me of engine seizure back in the day when my 250cc Husky cross country/scrambles bike would seize up under WOT but never flipped a piston.

I did see that one time on an oval track motor. The guy was trying to prove to me that you don't have to mind the little mark that indicates "to the front of the motor". I tried to tell him that the pin wasn't in the center of the piston. And yes, they were short skirt pistons, just like harley.
