Hit reply and then hit the little mountain/sun icon in the top of the reply window.
Should prompt you to browse device.
Go to your gallery, select a pic and hit upload or insert ( can't remember exactly what it says)
Should show up in your post.

That's how I do it from my iPad. It works every time.
