Every day I log to the site and click the "New Posts" button.
Every day I get 500 hits.
I would like to exclude certain forums/sub forums from this list to reduce the number of hits I get.
Certain forums like "Games" "EVO", "Shovelhead" "TriGlides" "Audio Systems" etc I have no desire
to view but they show up in the "New Posts" query.
I am certain I am missing out on posts/new threads in forums I am interested in because of the 500 hit limit.

Is there any way to minimize or exclude the unwanted forums from the list?

No, you can pick a main forum and that forum will be the first one showing when you log in.
But "New Posts" is just that, ALL New Posts.

 

There's a simple solution, instead of hitting the New Posts button, why not just go to the sections that you are interested in, works for me.

Another option is to do new posts then go in to the sub-forums you don't want to read and mark those read, after marking them read click new posts again. Usually only takes a few seconds.
