painting lower forks & triple trees

Default painting lower forks & triple trees

i have a 92 fxr, is it possible to paint the lower forks & triple trees?

Of course. I can't think of too many things you can't paint. Remove, clean, prep, paint.

Although, since it's a leading edge, I would seriously consider powdercoating. Much more durable.

I did it with mine, using cheap gloss black enamel. If you want to spend the time and money to remove the parts and do it right, I'd advise powdercoating also. If you paint put on several thin coats, letting them partially dry before the next coat to prevent runs.
