I never thought I would be looking at spending north of $500 for freaking shocks but I’m getting older and coveting a nicer ride for my decrepit body and my wife. I know now just buy installing the front cartridges that it really works.

How much and what weight oil is advised on these? I'm getting some conflicting answers between 10w and 15w and riders riding style.

 

I called Progressive, they told me 10wt.

 

Yep that"s what I'm hearing as a general rule.

Well the bike rides like it's on rails with the cartridges, I am glad I did install them... Took a 450 mile ride to the outer banks with the wife and the combo of these plus the Ohlins on the rear is a winner for me.... More money than I wanted to spend but it's worth it in the end when I look in the mirror and all I see is thumbs up from the Wife.

 

At right about $1000.00 it was a great comfort investment in my eyes.

 

Sure was..Mama is happy...

 

Now I'm having my seat re-done with better foam.
