Default top tree/clamp interchange

Can i use a 2017 FXDLS top triple tree/clamp on my 2006 Dyna Superglide?
I'm wanting to run the HD FXDLS Speed Screen(which has the additional mounting holes) and plan to black out the front end eventually anyways
Thanks
Dom

No ... the Low Rider has Rake in the Trees, the Superglide Does NOT ... Can't interchange Just One Piece

The Superglide (or anything Mid-glide except the Low Rider) has NO rake (0°) ... the Low Rider has approx 1.5°

.

So putting the Low Rider triples on a Mid-glide will add rake --> more trail thereby making the bike more stable/less manouverable at speed.
Is that unaceptable?

Adding "Tree Rake" (opposed to Neck Rake) DECREASES Trail, although the 06-later Low Rider Triples also reduce the Fork Tubes-to-Steering Stem "Offset" which puts some "Trail" back into it.

For example, a 09 FXDC and FXDL have only a 0.2" difference in Published Specs ... with the Low Rider having the less
