Default another raked front question

I have been searching for pics of dyna with a 3 degree rake in the front end. Has anyone done this? I would like to see some pics.

I am thinking of buying accutronix 3 degree midglide trees. They have trees for 49mm tubes. My low rider currently has 1.5 degrees of rake, so I don't see another 1.5 degrees making that much difference in handling.

Found this good article about rake and trail!

from what you're saying, it appears as though your rake would be at 4.5 if you add the 3 degree trees to the already 1.5 rake built into the low rider neck...?

have you considered a wide glide front end? ....the additional 2 degrees would bring you at 3.5... a few guys have done it and it looks great

in my opinion, too much rake on a dyna just doesn't look good... and of course, you need to be careful of trail

...i added 2 degrees to my bob with a wide glide front end and it looks great, of course

Low rider necks are 29 degrees just like the bobs. Only the WG has rake in the neck. Low rider trees are 1.5 degrees while WG are 2. JS, I like you added the WG trees and it looks awesome with just 2 degrees, 3 would be nice.

I searched for raked cup options but all I found was 3 degree. Nothing less. That would give me 4.5 degrees of rake. That is too much.&nbsp\\; If I stay with 3 degrees of&nbsp\\; rake or less, I keep a safe trail number. I am a little confused why the harley site says the low rider has 4.5" of trail, but the calculator I use comes to 3.8". Any ideas?

Stock low rider trail =&nbsp\\; 3.8

3 degree trees and 120/70-21 tire = 3.31
