Default New Brake Pad Thickness

I got some KEVLAR DISK BRAKE pads off Ebay for my 2001 Ultra. The pads are only about 3/16" thick on each side. Is this normal thickness on new brake pads? Thanks

Not sure what the thickness of new pads is but I believe the spec for replacement is .040". 3/16" is about .187" if that gives you any help.

3/16 sounds about right. If you are concerned that they are used, it's very appearant on the surface of the pad if they have been used or not.
