Surprise - MPG
Thought I'd post some general info on gas milage.
After installing 2-1-2 header W/jackpot dyno tuned slip ons, fuel moto air cleaner w/filter, PCV with base map, and Wood's .555 cams. Installed on a 10' ultra 103".
I filled up at 7-11 with their premium grade fuel.(It wasn't a planned fuel stop.) Riding 184 miles two up including some freeway, country and city driving. I'll call it average riding, normal take off with some roll on acceration, several 3/4 throttle roll ons up to about 80 MPH. speeds were between 60 - 70 most of the time. When I refueled and checked milage I was surprised and happy to see 49.77 MPG. I don't think it will be to difficult to squeeze 50 or better out of it.

I don't know how the .555 cam affects milage. With the total upgrade I expected to get a little less fuel milage but it has not turned out that way.
I think the open air cleaner and better flowing exhaust contribute the most, but I'm guessing on that.
The best I got in stock configuration was 47-48 and more often 44-45MPG one time I checked it and it was down around 42, always two up and normal/or average riding technique.
I'm pretty sure the map for the PCV has a part in it also but over all I was surprised and very glad to be getting that kind of range with the performance the bike now has.
