or prices starting at $3,495 including shipping — the final price depends on options, equipment and the time needed to do any special work — you get is a Twin Cam engine assembled with 100-percent new original equipment components.
Sounds interesting...

Probably will be treated as an "upgrade" and priced accordingly.

$4400 Didn't look bad for a 110, until I saw they required you had bought the big bore kit. Now it is similar in price to a S&S. Guess which I would get everything else being equal.

You are forced to have a dealer do the work, some of us can do our own or have a trusted INDY to do it.
If you have a good set of cases, get a new crank from S&S and build your own.... Ported heads are easy enough to get done, there are plenty of take off jugs out there, or have yours trued up with a .005 over bore, there are enough cams out there from the aftermarket to get what you want..like gear drives... Fueling makes a top notch cam plate and oil pump... I don't think you can get TC88 motors over the counter anymore..... but they will gladly build you one if you pay the stealership to do the R&R
and it is a effn long block but does not come with cams? That isn't a long block where I come from

Meh. Other than keeping the VIN it doesn't look like much of a deal. Can someone explain the point for someone whose motor didn't explode?? Seriously... How many motors wear out to the point of needing total replacement? With good maintenance and maybe a few small repairs a modern motor should go 200k miles(assuming nothing happens that causes catastrophic failure)

Well, with the official end of support for the Evolution motor from H-D, I guess I'll find out just how long my motor will last. I just turned this motor over the 100K mark and it's running fine.
