91 degrees and I'm wearing my helmet! After my two tickets last Wednesday I got my old helmet out and wore it today. Rode about 100 miles and my headwas sweating and I started getting a headache......Maybe if I soaked it in water and then froze it?.............I hate helmets![/align]

I can't believe that some states don't care wether or not you wear a helmet, but if you got caught without a seat belt your in trouble. No helmet no belt what is the big deal about letting people decide for themselves.

Well, I live in Canada and we can't even take a crap without asking our government first if it's ok.

The first bike I ever rode was a low rider in the great state of NH. I did it without a licence and without a helmet. I was taking a risk, but I wasn't endangering anyone but myself.

I'm not trying to start a debate, but why should I have to pay the government money (fines) just because I don't feel like buckling up, or wearing a helmet on a bike. There are a lot more dangerous things I could be doing, which are completely legal and not government regulated. I just don't get it.

The more you're willing to spend to protect your head, the better the features will be in the helmets. As you get up into the midrange and upper price level you will find some well designed ventilation built into some of these helmets. Likewise the higher quality of helmets have more expensive and lighter components in them that make them much more comfortable to wear than the cheapies.

p.s. Also, for what it's worth, 91 degrees is just starting to warm up where I live!!!!:D:D
