I just had a voicemail fm IRS rep stating to contact them immediately as I have a major problem with my tax records and they will report me to the local law. Pretty hard to understand her, though, as she had a "heavy Nigerian accent." Needless to say, I deleted the message...couldn't call back if I wanted...hard to understand the phone number through the accent.

Suckers are scammed every day...just need to learn how to not take the bait.

 

Some people just lack common sense and will always open themselves up to scams.

I'm renting a cabin in Eureka Springs this summer.

I exchanged e-mails and a phone call with the owners.
I also googled the place and got numerous hits.

I then made my reservation with a credit card which also provides protection.

Many locals during Sturgis rent their houses out and use the money to go someplace else for their vacation during Sturgis and craigslist is a good place to list, but again common sense is needed.
