And for those of us on this side of the water....( look over in the direction the sun rises my friends....that iddy biddy place called Europe)

Check out Daytona boots. Hand made in Germany. Leather and gortex. Waterproof and comfy as a pair of slippers.

Having a side zipper usually enables easy on-off functionality, so you don't have to constantly fuss with laces. The only easier boot to put on and off is a slip-on engineer boot but some people have concerns over the ability of that type of boot to stay on and fully protect if they have to make a quick exit from the bike.

I wear a slip-on set of engineer style boots. But I'm looking at getting the Bates waterproof boots that Harley sells a badged version of and they have the side-zipper with a water-resistant velcro cover.

I've worn red wings, wolverines, tony lamas and I couldn't tell you what else, but the most comfortable by far IMO is danner. I wear them 16 hours a day and they're still comfortable when I take them off. USA made, gore-tex, thinsulate, and rebuildable. They're pricey, but worth it.

I just bought these last week. They are full leather, lightweight, waterproof and made in the USA.
Best of all,,,,they fit like a glove!

Setup boots are my favorite. The ones I have are no longer made but they look like these.

Have around 60kids miles on the boots and they still function well.

Found them, they still make them.

I've been wearing their Gypsum. Now I've got the Icon Patrol. More protection, but still comfortable. At least until sandal season gets here.

I don't know what it is about Keen boots but they fit my feet better than any other brand.
I have a pair of steel toe Keens that I wear 40 - 50 hours a week.
I also have a pair for hiking and a pair for riding.

I tried to like Merrell, but they just weren't quite wide enough. Keens run just enough wider to work nicely for me.
