Default ripped my seat

need some advice on this , I am in Mesa for the next few weeks and have been doing a lot of riding, I somehow managed to catch a boot eyelet on the seat and tear a small hole in the seat , This seat has about 60k miles on it (I moved it from my last bike) Should I just have the whole seat redone ? or just have the tear fixed ? I don't want to give up much riding time , anybody in the Mesa area have names of a shop they would recommend?
thanks

With 60,000 miles, you should re-do the foam base while the seat is opened up.
The PHX metropolis should have a bunch of upholstery shops. Some might have a loaner seat so you can ride while they work on yours.

I guess I should have stated that this seat has been done for me by Mean City Cycles and has fairly new double memory foam installed

if its vinyl you can use this, it worked pretty well and was easy, its by no means perfect but it definitely works

put some electrical tape on it for now until you can afford some downtime then have it repaired/recovered professionally.

I would also add that if the tear isn't spreading, maybe find a slip cover for your seat so you wouldn't notice the quick repair job. Like the old saying goes, " out of sight, out of mind."
