Waterproofing Spray for Rain Gear??
I have tried many types and brands of rain gear, but I still get some water leaking by the seams. I ride w/o a windshield, so I know the airpressure forces the water through the smallest of holes, but I was wondering if anybody could suggest a spray that I could use on the inside of my raingear to seal things up? Right now I have the Top of the line H-D rain gear and most of their seams have a thin tape to seal out the water. I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks.--RJMDyna98

Spray anything on those taped seams, and the tape may just come off. I'd leave it alone. If it's their top of the line suit, you shouldn't have a problem. Probably could have saved some coin and gotten a good Gore-Tex lined suit from any hunting or fishing store/department.

Scotchgard definitely and any sporting goods or outdoors store have a brush on seam sealer for tents that I use that's very good for the rain gear also. This stuff of similar ,

Old school camping / backpacking trick......
100% silicon and white gas...(Coleman), make a "slurry" it doesn't take much silicon.
it takes about 5 minutes for it to mix and you just paint it on the seams.
if you use to much silicon it will appear a milky white sometimes.
it lasts about a year or 2 but works.
