Default customer complaint email

Hey Guys, my buddy recently shipped his bike to the middle east and his GPS no longer works. The dealer there now wants $2000 to put is name in their database, and $500 to down load new GPS software to his 2014 Ultra Limited.

Anyone got an email address to the right person that can perhaps provide some relief to his dilemma? Thanks in advance! Ride safe guys!

Harley has no email. I just stated in a thread that that was poor customer service, and someone said they couldn't imagine how that could be needed.
Anyway, if you want to contact Harley, you can call or write them. I doubt they will help your buddy.

Called them when I got my SGS last year Had problems with the blue tooth. Anyway got to talk to a VP. because they was thinking important person. My name is Fred Deeley same name as the guy who owns all them dealerships in Canada after a few minutes of talking I realized the VP though he was talking to the guy from Canada, we had a good laugh, he sent the new down load to my dealer that day and called them too. Said take care of me. Fixed right away, dealer said been trying to get the new down load for two weeks. He said next time they need something they will have me call.

He knows that.

The answer is still buy a Garmin there. For a couple hundred bucks it will work fine and the OP will have a working GPS..
When (if) he brings the bike back to the US the built in GPS will once again work....

Why did your buddy ship the bike to the Middle East instead of just buying one out there?

If its used, its much easier to to do that than buy one there. They are notorious for not maintaining their stuff, oil changes etc on time. Ive heard horror stories from mechanics at the Riyadh KSA dealer. I have a few buddies who shipped their stuff over because of it
