New document added yesterday shows a "Fat Boy S" and a "Softail Slim S" with the 110 but not called out as a CVO. Definitely has me interested...

Yep, like you i'm very interested, called my dealer today and discussed the possibilities, they had not heard anything, it was news to them, I told them I would call them back on the 24th, might have to buy a Fat Boy with a 110:-)

I faxed over the CARB info to the dealer also, they were quite thankful for the help and info. We wait, this really has me thinking, is the "S" code for Springers?

I noticed the Fat Boy S and Slim S as well - interesting. Maybe S is just for "Special" (more likely than "Sport"), or maybe they have overcome the abs issue for the springer - a bit strange to put it on a Fat Boy but who really knows how the minds at HD work.
Also trying to figure out why the Street Bob is listed under the Softail (B engine) section (and therefore not in the Dyna section) - there are only 4 Dyna models listed.
Maybe the Street Bob has morphed into a Softail??? Brings back memories of the not much loved Blackline of a few years ago. If I recall it was dropped after a couple of years due to poor sales.

Overall seems to be one of those not much new years (after Rushmore and Street projects maybe the R&D team needed a break). My guess is cosmetic upgrades (i.e. paint), the new models as mentioned above (and the long waited Road Glide Ultra) and not much else. Would be nice to be surprised but this year I'm not holding my breath (more than likely to just result in disappointment).

Anyway - a bit over one week and we will all know (Dealer meeting scheduled for 24 August).

Fatboy and Slim S bikes are gonna be one year Sturgis 75th commemoratives. You don't think Harley paid all that money to be the Official Bike of 75th Sturgis not to capitalize on it do you? Wouldn't be surprised if there's one in the Dyna line up too.

The tank will look something like this:

I would say this pretty much means the 110" across the board with the 120" in the CVOs for 2017. Is it too early for the 17 rumors, lol?
