Northeast Dallas this afternoon, the weather station air temp was 105F and the temp/humidity index was 120F.

Yesterday air temp was 109F and don't know the index number.

Except for the Mojave Basin, Dallas area is hottest place in the USA.

Funny. We moved to the desert last week. I've been (bike) riding each morning at 6am super nice. But daytime temps have averaged 105+. Went on a couple of short rides and felt like I was being blasted with a hot hair dryer. Almost thinking of getting a half helmet! Still... Beats a day in the dentist chair doesn't it!?

In ND you never complain about heat, because winter is always lurking around waiting to pounce with several inches of snow.

99* is hot? damn, that would be a cold front here .....

GatorLaw - I ride to depos and meetings, and occasionally to court, if it's not too hot and humid. I don't know how you did it in 99 degree heat without showing up looking like crap. What's your secret?
