My visit to a dealer includes a stop at the parts counter and then a walk out the door. I don't even bother looking at new bikes. There are too many clean, low mileage bikes on the used market.

2015 was a rough year for Harley. New bike sales declined and production was cut. I don't expect bike prices to go down, but I do believe we'll see more factory and dealer incentives in the future.

I don't think that HD new bike prices are anywhere near as ridiculous as HD new T-Shirt prices.

Car dealers are the same. Ever look at the price tag on their clothing?

But you're right. There is no way I'm spending $32k on a bike unless I win a big lottery and money is no object. And that $32k US works out to around $43k Canadian! Ackkk!

^^^ I remember when a T shirt was $20 -$24, now I see them at $30 mostly. I can still find shirts on clearance for $20, but if I really want the shirt, I pay the $30.

I also could not believe the price of women's shirts. I bought my wife one off the clearance rack for $30 but full price was $70. NO WAY I would have paid full price!!! The bike prices are TOO CRAZY to even consider. As mentioned before, too many good, low mileage bikes on the market. Besides I just bought my 1st one in September so I have a LOOOOOOOONG wait for a new one, even though I realty like the Road Glides.

Got some stuff for XMas gifts....
Picked up a tee shirt, a long sleeve henley, and a hoodie....for my wife. At a leather and bike shop. Not Harley-branded...but generic biker stuff. 10 bucks for the tee shirt, 15 for the long sleeve, 20 I think for the hoodie. Had cool "big boob chick on a bike" stuff on it in pink and black.

For myself..snagged a tee shirt done up in old 50's style art....chick sittin on an old Harley FLH Shovelhead. Generic. Not authentic Harley. Also just 10 bucks.

Good quality stuff...4 items of clothing and just 55 bucks. Less than the cost of 1x cheaply made tee shirt from the stealership.

Gettin' right up there with concert t-shirts and other crap like that...that's why I: A) Rarely go to concerts, and B) don't buy t-shirts when I do.

I do have a drawer full of HD shirts, but most are either gifts or straight off the clearance racks. I wanted to get some more for my wife at Christmas this year, but not at those prices...(it'd be different if she rode with me)

Yeah the stuff is getting pricey, but it wont stop me from going in the dealership. Always like a kid in the toy store when I do. I will say I usually don't come out with my arms full though LOL! And any chrome doodad, Ill see if JP cycles carries something close before I shoot my wad at the dealership.

I'm wearing a black hoodie right now, says North Face on it. I think I paid $50 at Cabelas for it.
I don't own any clothing with a Harley logo emblazoned on it. No need to give HD free advertising. I don't have a HD sticker on my pickup truck.
