You are good. I'm about 3 bucks and I ride my Street Bob just fine and that's with gear on trips.

Don't forget there is a huge inventory of good used bikes out there. You should be able to find one in your price range...even an HD touring model.

Total weight on the Ultra Limited is 640 lbs. as I recall.

CORRECTION: Looks like total added weight is closer to 460 lbs. Ain't it great having "CRS" [can't remember ****]?

Even the 'maximum added weight' of the Sportster 883 is 438lbs. So weight shouldn't be an issue as far as the bike handling it, especially if you plan on riding solo. A big twin (Dyna and above) would probably barely feel you back there. :-)

Dayummm, a 400 pounder on a sportster, now that would be comical.
Like a monkey riding a football as they say.

Just get a sticker that says "No fat chicks", and you should be fine.

I had a Buell XB12Ss before I got my Fat Boy Lo. The trick is not giving two ***** what anyone else thinks and just enjoying yourself.

Riding a football? I've often heard a different term.
