Hog roadside assistance fail
I just called roadside assistance for a flat tire and was informed by the agent that the provider will not tow a motorcycle in the rain. What am I to do? What am I paying for? Should I wait for a perfect weather day before I have a problem on the road? I was informed by the agent that I should cal back when it is not raining.
My confidence is shot now. This is not what I expect from roadside assistance.

Hope you live and ride in a State that only has 7 inches of annual rain fall. oh wait that's me. Not so sure it is Hog roadside assistance that is total at fault other than the sub-contractor they use for towing. With that said maybe you can work with Hog to find a new towing company to sponsor, I know you should not have to but it may help someone else out in the future. OR get the name of who they use and call them. If they know Hog is putting this info out there it may help to change their minds. Good luck and hope you find a better towing service, I have the free Hog assistance and then pay for a back up with another company just in case.

Might take them a while to get to you if you're way out in the boonies or it's a holiday, but they won't let you down.

I have AAA RV Plus. It will tow any type of vehicle besides a semi, up to 100 miles. I've used it once for my wife's car, and once just last November for my bike. Which I had a flat also. They came both times in less then an hour. Makes no sense to pay for a policy for the car, and a different one for the bike. I hear Harley will try to lowball the tow company closest to you, and most won't go for it. They have to provide you with something, so they tell you to get towed and just send them the bill.,,,
