I dont know what it smells like but, if in doubt drain it out. It will only cost a couple of bucks to know you are good forsure

 

Has nothing to do with that. Last time he was here he was having transmission issues that he did repair. During this time he went through some gear oil as well as SYN3. I was just curious because all the used stuff, including slightly used went back into oil bottles for disposal this is the reason I was wondering. I cannot imagine that mixing SYN3 with 75w tranny oil is good.

 

Go to bed with itchy Syn3 bottle, wake up with stinky finger.

 

well, after reading this entire thread to this point, i'd thought i would tell everyone that i've stuck my finger in all three holes and it always comes out stinking. and when her father came in there was some fear involved too!

 

You will probably have to bleach that finger to get rid of the aroma.

It's funny you mentioned that. I don't like the smell of Syn3 when my 88 gets hot. Has a burnt omelette smell.

I use Syn3, because my dealer recommended it. Sometimes he used it, and I would use Dino or Mobil 1. I decided to stick with one, because who knows what happens when you mix them.

 

I have smelled Sin 1 and Sin 2, I was scared to death to smell Sin 3!!
