It's a tough call, I mean anyone would tell you he shouldn't have went after the thieves, but most of us instinctively would have...and in reality he was going after his bike, its funny how you develop feelings for your bike but that's what it was, he just wanted his bike. I understand his reaction, unfortunately it cost him.

I watched the show this morning. It's part of a series, See No Evil. It's about 45 mins long with commercials. Season 6 Episode 9. I could see myself doing the same thing, having the same outcome. I do carry, however; most of us don't know how we will react in a situation like that. My condolences to Larry's wife, family and friends.

A horrible, senseless tragedy but IF something good has came from this it is that it has alerted many of us that these things can and do happen at anywhere and at anytime and no motorcycle is worth dying (or killing) to either protect of to steal.
Calling 9-1-1 and/or your insurance company may not be something that you (or I) like the idea of doing, but it beats the **** out of needing a defense attorney or your wife calling a funeral director if you decide to stop the thief (or thieves) yourself.
Your cell phone and camera are your best tools!

That is what I pay insurance for. Leave me and wifey alone.
I've never owned anything that was worth my life........................
RIP...Larry
