Nice jacket definitely worth checking out.

The company is Vanson Leather out of Fall River, MA. I went down wearing it. A little scuff on the sleeve was the only damage it suffered. It protected me well.

I only wear Vansons when riding. I think I have four of them at least. A friend who turned me on to them years ago said "when your wearing a Vanson you feel so safe it almost makes you want to go down" jokingly of course.

I love the jacket. It's pretty substantial. Weighs a ton. I don't mind it in the Summer heat, I open up the vents on the sleeves, but I'd like to get a perforated one for the Summer so then I can have two. Have to save up some $$$.

Bought mine from Leatherup for $50 including shipping. Itz the only one they had and it was on clearance to get rid of the only one left in that size. I wear it over the HD black jacket i have.

I don't actually own one, quite like to though, here in the UK they're £360 so Around $ 480 quite a bit under what you thought.

I have the Stallion with orange/white stripes in full perf for the summer as well as the Technical Hardcore in full perf and the Vent Max mesh jacket for summer heat. In the winter I go with the Mark 2 Cobra, it's almost bullet proof.
