Couple questions for the experienced. I've had street bikes my whole life but never a cruiser until today. Bought a 2011 Fat Bob, wife says seat is uncomfortable when she road with me today. Do they make more comfortable replacement seat ? Also bike doesn't have that loud sound I've heard in other bikes, do they make louder after market exhaust ? Look forward to hearing from you guy!

As to question one: Is your wife's discomfort because the current seat is too wide, or because the current seat is way, way too narrow?

...question two: there are rumors that some aftermarket companies may be designing exhaust systems that are louder than stock Harley Davidson mufflers. Personally, I don't believe it as it would tarnish the Harley "image". Stick with what you've got.

Most dealers have DEMO seats that you can borrow to try out. That's what I'd suggest, and maybe a passenger backrest. When the OL is happy, the ride is much nicer! ;-)

I completely disagree. There are TONS of aftermarket slip-on exhausts the you can bolt on yourself to get the sound/volume you're looking for. IDK about all of them, but Vance & Hines has a section on their site where you can actually hear what their different exhausts will sound like on your bike.

Congrats on the new bike!

Take a look at Mustang seats, very comfy.

Vance and Hines would make a good choice for some slip ons.

I agree! Sometimes This 62 year old brain is pretty wound up before I realize I've bitten!
