I have a Daytona half helmet. They size the helmets so a small is physically smaller than a large. No mushroom head for me.

From what people say, the smaller style helmets (versus the huge mushroom SNELLs)....give much less wind resistance at highways speeds.

Jockey and other small novelty variants kinda lump all together to me.

The polo "Jockey" style helmet has been used for racing cars- a logical choice for bikers.

Shoei X11 and now RF1200 with pinlock clear and dark visor. I wore a large X11 and now a XL RF1200. Cheek pads removed on both.

I was a shroom head in school, with other psychedelics as well.......why would I care about wearing a big helmet too?

Boy howdy. A resurrection of a 3 year old thread. Were we bored or what. I had a bud that wore a bicycle helmet when Texas had a helmet law.

Once you retire from horse racing, what else are you gonna do with your stuff?
