I have 2, both are heavy fall/winter jackets. Don't wear one in warm weather. Triumph as in the british motorcycles makes great gear and Langlitz, one of the best.

The Harley Passing link leather fits well, has great vents and lots of pockets. It looks and feels old when new and repels water well, at least with a few coats of sealer.

I wear an HD FXRG that I bought in 1999. Still waterproof, has a winter liner and is just plain awesome. My ex-wife gave me a ration of you-know-what when I paid $400+ way back then but I'd say that 17 years of use, 10's of thousands of miles and the fact that it still looks damn good (me, well not so much) made it well worth the money spent. Oh yeah, I did say "ex" lmfao.

I've got several jackets, for different weather conditions. I've got four Vanson jackets, one in leather mesh, two in solid leather, and one in Cordura. Also have a Hillside in horsehide. Frankly, if I go down, I want to be wearing Vanson leather.

The jackets in the HD dealership are made in China. Some are pretty decent anyway, some are just fashion jackets. I prefer to wear USA made clothing and shoes/boots, but I'm not fanatical about it. I do have an imported Carhartt cordura jacket that works well in extremely cold weather.

I've tried Fox Creek based on the internet reviews.....Junk.

I've had two FXRG jackets and they're the bomb. Hands-down the best jackets I own.

No jacket but need one. I have a Fox creek vest for the cooler rides or a denim vest for the warmer ones. I looked at the fxrg, but damn that's a lot of cash

First time I've ever heard anyone say that about Fox Creek. What led you to that conclusion?

Cheers!

Don't know about name brands. Just went to Burlington outlet. Bought a heavy black leather jacket and some leather gloves for around $150.00. This was about 4 years ago.
