In need of some advice

Go to as many of the dealers as you can and get their prices. Tell them you know what bike you want and you are going to go with the best deal. Let them know they are in competition and it will be an easy sale for them - as long as they beat the other guy on price. The dealerships don't have much motivation to deal when bikes are selling and are in demand, but the sales guys want their commission so you will get a much better price in person than you would get if you just call around.
Have them eat as much as possible of the delivery charges. It is minimal work for them and their cost is small. As long as they are not too busy in the shop you may save some money there.
If you are not getting anywhere on the price, try to have them throw in some parts or clothing. They have markup on that stuff so discounting it for a guy who is buying a bike is not a bad move for them.
Warranty is always negotiable and there is a huge markup on them. If you're interested in that.

An easy way to start this process is email each of the dealers with the specifics of the bike you are interested in. Tell them yo uwant their best price and to itemize the price in a reply e mail.
Those that respond are the ones to work with and you saved yourself some riding around.
From the ones that respond work those replies with no freight, delivery fee, or prep.
Once you get some or all of those worked off ask about free 1K inspection.
Your facing a tough battle as these were just released. It is the first part of the month and they may want to start off with a bang.
If not you have started the process to finish up at the end of the month when they will want to add all they can to their numbers.
Good Luck I wish you well in this.

My .02.... First your getting a great bike.. I just bought a 17 RGU and I did get a fair deal BUT for the most part, these are going at MSRP everywhere although Texas HD did cut me a deal.. From what I'm hearing, no one is budging on freight and the prep can be negotiated.. My thoughts.. If you pay for full freight and prep and get 500.00 off msrp, your ok.. they will come at you with extended warrentys - This can be added after purchase, I believe up until the base expires.. Good luck and let us know how you do!
