That reminds me of a similar incident from a few years ago a sheriff's car and I were side by side at a stop light, when the light turned green we both started of and about half way thru the intersection this female on a cell phone slammed into the side of the sheriff's cruiser. She was turning left and said she didn't see us.

 

I admit sometimes to letting them get a little too close (with a pre-planned escape route of course,) before I wake them up from oblivion with my air horns. (The last time she looked over at me with a 'WTF?' look because she didn't even know that she'd gone straight from a left turn lane.)

 

It's one of those two-lane left turns. She drifted rightward into my lane as we started turning.

 

Nothing odd or strange in the way she was "driving" on the phone. Par for the course. But it's nice to know the police were at the right place at the right time.

 

yeah, but he probably gave her just a warning. she'll be good for a couple of days, then go right back into her 'evil' ways.....

 

The phone will be right back in her hand when she can no longer see the cop car in her rear view mirror.

 

Karma is great, but instant karma is awesome, and if you are a really lucky man, God will let you watch !

 

Karma doesn't happen to people like that often enough.
